Sonya Smith-Valentine, Esq.

Sonya Smith-Valentine speaks regularly on running a solo practice.  She is a frequent speaker at the Maryland State Bar Association "Hanging Out a Shingle" seminars about the business side of running a law practice.  Also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), she brings a different financial perspective to the business of law.

Sonya's experience as a solo practitioner was transformed by learning-on her own mostly-how to implement and embrace a best practices system.  It has now become Sonya's mission to help other attorneys who are seeking to start and/or maximize their practices without making their services cost prohibitive for those they seek to help.  Sonya's practice and the Valentine Legal Group, LLC was designed to make the most of sound business management principles and new technology.
